Napavine Youth Basketball is a non-profit organization that was designed to help raise money to provide opportunities for Napavine kids, grades 3-12, to play basketball. We run various tournaments and camps throughout the year to raise money to help give financial support for the Napavine basketball program. The money raised has been used to send teams to tournaments across the state and throughout the country at the lowest cost possible. The money has also been used to help with kids who cannot afford apparel, shoes, and/or equipment.
The development of youth tournaments has been the key to our success. We started the youth tournaments, grades 4-8, in the winter of 1994. We started with 8 teams and now these tournaments have grown to over 60 teams per year. We started our first high school tournament, grades 9-12, in the summer of 1999 with 5 teams. The tournaments have grown to over 80 teams attending. We have raised thousands of dollars for our youth basketball program at Napavine, and done our best to create a positive and memorable experience for our athletes.
